Write to us
Ukaia works by email. This site has no contact form and no phone line, so that your message goes straight to a person who can read it.
Your message
What to include
- What the material is: a document, an archive, a website, a handbook or a program.
- Who reads it, and what they need to find when they arrive.
- Where you believe the order goes wrong, if you already know.
- Any deadline, and whether it is fixed or a hope.
What happens next
A person reads every message
We read each message ourselves. If the work suits what we do, we will propose a first conversation. If it does not, we will say so plainly and, where we can, point you toward better help.
Please do not send anything you would not want an outside studio to read. Describe the shape of the material first. Full files can follow once we have talked, and only if they are needed.
Before you write
Read the guide if you want a head start.
The short guide explains the ideas we use when we order material: keys, ties, stable methods and the testing we do with strangers. It is a useful place to start even if you never hire us.
